April Cooper, CSW, graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then earned her Master’s in Social Work from Brescia University in 2022. She provides therapy to children, teens, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based interventions. She uses treatment methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. April has experience working with diverse population groups. Her clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, anger management, grief, self-esteem, adjustment, family/relationship issues, and trauma. April truly believes that knowledge is power and works to help her clients identify and understand the negative thinking patterns that can often keep individuals from their fullest potential.
